Beata Mariam NYC is a growing Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in New York City offering English and Amharic Kidase. We need 30 sustaining members giving monthly to keep our doors open and grow our ministry. If this is your church home, this is your tithe home.

 

About Our Campaign: 

 

We are a small but growing Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in New York City, committed to serving our community through faith, liturgy, and love.

 

We offer both English and Amharic Kidase (Divine Liturgy). English services every other week and Amharic services throughout the month,  making our ancient and beautiful faith accessible to all. 

 

Whether you are a lifelong Ethiopian Orthodox Christian or discovering this tradition for the first time, there is a place for you here.

 

We are building a full youth ministry, pastoral counseling, community outreach, and a spiritual home for the faithful in one of the world's most busy cities.

 

We have a vibrant Sunday community, but only a small number of sustaining members whose giving keeps our doors open. We are inviting you to take the next step and become a founding member of this church.

 

The honest truth: It costs $6,000 a month to keep Beata Mariam NYC open and serving our community. Here is exactly where that goes:
